Heat Pump Maintenance Is Not Furnace Maintenance

A growing share of Studio City homes now heat with heat pumps or ductless mini-splits rather than gas furnaces, particularly hillside properties where ductwork was never practical.   • Backup Heat Staging: Checked so resistance heat engages only when genuinely needed, not by default.

  2. At Minimum Annually

  3. Sooner If There Is Any Odor

  4. Immediately After Buying
